About Me

Talia Nabarro is a London-based soprano and vocal teacher, performing across opera, musical theatre, concerts, weddings and private events. Classically trained but equally at home across different styles, she brings warmth, personality and storytelling to everything she performs.

Talia graduated with a First-Class degree in Music Performance from the University of Leeds, where she was also awarded a prize for achieving the highest overall academic performance in her graduating class. As part of her degree, she spent a year studying at the University of California, Santa Cruz, performing roles including Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Cinderella in Sondheim’s Into the Woods and Catrina in El último sueño de Frida y Diego.

Her performance experience includes solo appearances with Leeds Baroque, performances at St Mark’s Basilica in Venice, Lauderdale House in London and appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She was also awarded first prize at the Santa Cruz Baroque Festival Youth Vocal Competition for her performance of Handel.

Talia holds an ARSM Performance Diploma with Distinction, alongside Grade 8 Distinctions in both singing and violin. Her repertoire spans opera, art song, musical theatre and contemporary music.

Alongside performing, Talia teaches singing privately in London and online. She has undertaken specialist training in vocal pedagogy at Berklee College of Music, developing her knowledge of vocal anatomy, physiology and healthy, sustainable technique across classical and contemporary styles. Her teaching is encouraging and individually tailored, helping singers build confidence, develop their technique and enjoy using their voice.
